I have wet AMD in my left eye and had 4 injections of Avastin this year every 30 days. I was growing very weary of what this did to my quality of life. I came across Vision Alive Max when I was researching my problem and I ordered some. I decided to try it for 30 days and prior to this, I was of course, taking AREDS2 religiously because that is all they tell you to do. I also decided to get a second opinion since my specialist was telling me the Avastin was not working for me long term and we would have to switch to Eylea. When I saw a new specialist at Mayo, he asked me what my previous doctor had told me so I repeated the above. He said "I do not know why he told you that because I am looking at your OCT results and you do not need an injection" I was stunned. The only change: I had started taking Vision Alive Max one week before this appointment. My last injection had been 6 weeks prior. I had another eye check yesterday at mayo and once again, no injection was needed. I am scheduled for a recheck in 4 weeks!! I am now more than 8 weeks since the last injection.
