I was taking a different supplement before I discovered Vision Alive Max. I showed the ingredients to my eye doctor and she said they had all the necessary ingredients for managing the macular degeneration. I wanted to give these enough time to work before I submitted a review. After a year on Vision Alive, my eye exam was excellent, no adverse changes to the macular. As far as improved vision, it didn't change or make my vision any better but sometimes I actually have days when I can go without my glasses mostly for watching TV but not reading. Still need glasses for that. Also, I was using drops for dryness but stopped taking them since they didn't seem to help much. The Vision Alive seems to help with the dryness as well although tear production is limited but my eyes don't feel as dry.
