I've been taking Nexium since it came to market 20 to 30 something years ago. Over 3/4 of that time I was taking it twice daily. Now I've reduced my dose from 40mg twice/day to 20mg twice/day. I now don't notice the burning affects of acid reflux while laying down. Gut Alive doesn't stop the reflux, but significantly reduces the burn. I do still wake once or twice some months, but am not doubled over in pain from the burning all the way to my throat anymore and can manage what break-thru reflux I do get. I look forward to the day that I can stop Nexium altogether!
