I switched from PreserVision to Vision Alive Max a number of months ago. Frankly I don't know if this product is or isn't more effective than PreserVision. The reason I don't know is that even though my DRY AMD hasn't become WET AMD, I really don't know if it's because of Vision Alive Max or not. In other words, the condition might be staying dry for other unknown reasons. However, I'll continue to take Vision Alive Max because I would rather have my eyes stay in the dry condition than possible becoming wet. BTW - A friend who is the same age as me (86) had her AMD suddenly go from dry to wet a few months ago. Now she has to get injections. She was taking PreserVision - NOT Vision Alive Max. It's too late now, but maybe, just maybe if she was taking Vision Alive Max her condition might not have deteriorated into wet AMD. I guess we'll never know.
