I recently had a dexa scan which showed osteoporosis in my spine, -3.2. I have been taking calcium and vitamin D for many years, so I was surprised to see that I had osteoporosis. Additional research on calcium supplements showed that there are absorption issues with calcium carbonate and calcium citrate. I read several peer reviews regarding plant based calcium, so I decided to give Osteo Alive a try. I have had no gastro-intestinal issues, so overall I am pleased so far. I plan to request a repeat scan in 3 months to see if there is any improvement.
